Cast of Characters

Before this blog goes any further, it probably makes sense to introduce the cast of characters. 5 trip-related facts about each travel member:

JuAnne

  1. Most forgetful person in the whole world. Must give all important documents and money to other tripmates for her own safety.
  2. Famous for fake crying to get a temporary passport from the US consulate in order to make the trip.
  3. Now super close family friend of Karen’s parents.
  4. Resident professional photographer.
  5. Co-trip organizer.

Karen

  1. Resident Mommy for the trip. Takes care of all team members, particularly Rahul since he needs the most taking care of.
  2. Brought the most electronic items on trip. Recently discovered color swapping and accenting on her camera that’s provided her hours of endless entertainment.
  3. Wears an old man fanny pack while biking and is not ashamed of it.
  4. Wurdle champion of trip. Disputed by Danny.
  5. Co-trip organizer

Danny

  1. The boy can eat. On a scale of 1-10 where 10 is most hungry, Danny never dips below 6.
  2. Most likely to be found at Angelika movie theater reading Aristotle’s Poetics for Screenwriters, wearing a baret and eating an organic apple.
  3. Raced Lance Armstrong in the Giro D’Brooklyn bike race. Lance lost strong.
  4. More mature than rest of team. That puts his age at around 8.
  5. Wurdle champion of trip. Disputed by Karen.

Rahul

  1. 2nd weakest bicyclist in whole tour group of 17.
  2. Laziest member of crew.  Does not like responsibility or taking any type of leadership role. Cannot be counted on for any planning or logistical purposes.
  3. Worst packer on team. Brought the most stuff but still has to borrow essentials from fellow team members.
  4. Keen sense of smell.
  5. Twitters more than the rest of the team combined. Considers himself a “techie” now that he uses “twitter” and “tumblr” as verbs.
